Five New WhatsApp features
1. Increased limit on WhatsApp Group Call: You can now add eight participants in a group audio or video call as opposed to earlier where you were able to add only four people, But now it has doubled the number of participants.
2. Limit on WhatsApp forward: To solve the problem of fake news and misinformation. WhatsApp reduced the number of items you can forward a message on the app. The company stated that "since putting into place this new limit, globally there has been a 70% reduction in the number of highly forwarded messages on WhatsApp.
3. Ability to lock WhatsApp: This is probably one of the best features of WhatsApp to provide security to personal information. WhatsApp recently brought the WhatsApp authentication system in both Android and iOS. It enables users to lock WhatsApp on their phones to protect their chats from hacking.
4. Call-waiting support: It allows the WhatsApp user to receive incoming WhatsApp calls while they are in the mindset of another call. Earlier users were not offered an option to accept or even check calls
5. New group privacy setting: With a new WhatsApp feature, you can now control over who can add you WhatsApp group. You can choose the name among "Nobody", "My contacts", and "My contacts except option" in the settings menu.
